Experience
I have been a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) for Biological Sciences from Fall 2014 to Fall 2016 for Biology Lab courses. During my tenure as a TA, I was involved in instructing 3hrs long lab sessions, twice a week. I would be instructing and lecturing the students on the material from their respective lab manuals, which would be followed by guiding them through each of the experiments. The lecture session also included instructing the students on their lab reports. As a part of this job, I would be managing 2 sections per week of 36 students and grading their weekly assessments also. I was also required to modify powerpoint presentations of the existing lecture material to suit the needs of the students. Hobbies
Reading books of various kinds starting everyday fiction to non fictions is my major hobby. I enjoy reading Science fictions as much as I enjoy reading research articles. Genetics and Cell and Molecular Biology are two of my favorite subjects from Biological Sciences. Since, I have worked as Graduate Teaching Assistant for 5 semesters, I enjoy teaching and interacting with students on a day to day basis to help them out with their problems pertaining to Biology.
