Experience
I love tutoring because I love using my gifts to help others. I like finding different ways of explaining a concept so the student has a firm understanding of the material. I also love seeing the growth and learning that can take place in a tutoring situation. I have tutored multiple high school students in math and science subjects and have also tutored through the college of engineering tutoring center on campus. I received A's in all my high school math and science courses, including AP Calculus, Statistics, and Biology as well as all my college math and science courses, including Calculus I, II, and III, Chemistry, and Human Anatomy and Physiology. I have spent multiple summers as a camp counselor for kids grades 5 through 8 and also served as the camp sailing instructor for a summer.

I am a fun, energetic student who loves to help. I started out freshman year majoring in Civil Engineering before changing to a double major in Nursing and International Service. I studied abroad for a semester in Namibia, Africa and I dream to practice nursing abroad after I graduate from Valpo. I played on the club ultimate frisbee team at Valpo and love enjoying the outdoors.
